I know its a late start to the new year, but let me just say I've been busy hanging out with my new boyfriend, lol.
So, just to make some progress on this blog, here's a few things I wouldn't normally post on Deviantart:
To the left here, are two pearl necklaces I made for myself. The smaller on on top was made hastily as a quick accessory and is strung with a stretchy cord and a bar and ring toggle.
The bigger beaded one on the bottom is strung with nylon thread and ties in the back with a ribbon, shown below.
I've made a few other things, like some earthy toned earrings and a purple and black necklace and earring set for mom, which you can see on my Deviantart account. (I think I also have my Caribbean bracelet and Amber fragments necklace on there too, by the way) I also made a pair of cherry earrings, green smirnoff bottlecap earrings, and a crimson choker for my victorian vampire halloween costume. Well, that's all for now! Perhaps when I finish my outfit cataloging project, I'll post again with some pictures of my sketches!!

I'm currently relearning how to use paintshop pro. :D
I've been playing around with my old photos and came up with this weird, sideshow looking picture. (This photo actually came from Amber originally!) It kinda reminds me of like a family portrait....a family of sideshow freaks, lol.
Any who, I also have another blog on another e-mail.
.Makeup Addiction.
As you can tell, I'm attempting to move my makeup rants so that this blog will be more about sketching and photos, if possible. This new blog includes reviews for affordable makeup and other related things. Mostly, just because I'm bored.
So take a look if you're interested!
Ah, I've been so busy, even though I got laid-off from my pitiful job! But it's all good, I've had time to help with the remodeling of our kitchen at home, cleaning after the holidays, even working on some projects!
I also got really sick twice, I realized that I have winter depression/anxiety and it took awhile to get back to myself again!!
All in all, it's been sort of rough, but now I'm feeling better over all. (Though I'll be way happier when spring is here in full force.)

Christmas was uneventful, but stressing as usual. I spent most of it sick.
However, Christmas didn't suck all THAT bad.
More later, when posting isn't pissing me off. <3
Needless to say, I had a good time Wednesday night. :)
On a more creative note, I had time to try out a new idea for eye makeup. Since I wore a white, black and silver shirt (hand-me-down from Brittani!!!) I wanted something to match that didn't stand out too much. I decided on a silver and black combination that was surprisingly neutral. I bought some 100% human hair false eyelashes a couple weeks ago to wear on night outings and they performed wonderfully!! They stayed on all night long and were really easy to put on, vs. the cheap halloween falsies, which sucked and were so awkward to put on that I gave up. I didn't get any closeups, but I might do it again later. <3
I'm slightly under the weather and have been busy in preparation of Christmas, trying to get everyone's presents bought.
Then as I was excited about going out tonight to see the male revue, I got some bad news at work. My hours have been cut again. So I have the job at my aunt's kennel to fall back on, though it's only two days a week too. My dad's gonna KILL me. x.x
Sorry for just the status post...I don't know when my head will be clear enough to think coherently again.
This is my most recent doodle, in which I thought I might submit on my deviantart account for the 100 themes challenge: 1. Introduction. However, I'm considering posting it for a different catagory, say theme 6. break away. I'm still not done at the moment, I have to decide what medium to use to color with. I'm leaning towards colored pencils at the moment with this one, but future projects might be watercolor or acrylic. I've decided that I really really hate working on the computer, as I don't know much about Paint Shop Pro...and also I'm not fond of the pain of mouse usage. I think that refining skills on traditional mediums is important anyway.
And so, I'll be sitting here at work dodging annoying ex boyfriends and being miserable until 4 o clock or later today, trying to entertain myself and keep my sanity.
(I was going to knit christmas presents today, but I lost the other needle I was working with. I have to figure out how to transfer this scarf to the extra set I have... :P)
Wish me luck!!!
